Gizmo gets a #bath at #Petco. Thank you, Pamala.

Apres bath

#Pamala #Sullivan, the groomer who is, as far as I am concerned the Petco Employee of the Decade, squeals with joy at seeing him again, hugs him, kisses him, promises once again to make him look like a movie star… or a show dog.
A couple of hours later, we pick him up and he has been brushed and combed so that his feet look brilliantly white and fluffy.  He jumps up to greet us and his coat looks smooth and almost collie-like.  And, yes, he does look like a movie star to us and to Sullivan, who is beaming with pride and, yes, love.  She has gone far beyond the requirements of the job and has groomed Gizmo to the point that his coat seems to shimmer and shine.   Thank you, Pamala; thank you, Petco.
That night, I merely walk him around the neighborhood and do not take him to the dog park, where he will surely get dusty and dirty.  I just want to enjoy him as a clean doggie for another couple of days.
