Start newest #trend: all women’s feet need a #”Norman” #tattoo.

Tattoo on her foot?  Just let me lick it.
As an unexpected boon to everyone named “Norman,” Jennifer Aniston recently began sporting a cursive-scripted tattoo of the name Norman on the side of her right foot.
A brilliant Chicago radio host, Norman Ross, once told me that some African tribes believe that people with the same first names are psychically connected.  Is it possible that I am now connected to Jennifer Aniston’s right foot?
Aniston got the tattoo, her first, as a tribute to Norman, her Welsh corgi-terrier mix, who died at age 15 in May 2011.  Norman was with her before and after Brad Pitt, meaning that, after her father, Norman was probably her longest-lasting relationship with a male, neutered or not.
Aniston’s tattoo led Mack Rawden of Pop Celebrity Blend to recall “one twenty-something girl who remembered her beloved bulldog Groucho by getting his face tattooed on her stomach.”  Looking down from a man-atop position at a bulldog’s face permanently inscribed in your beloved’s tummy might interfere with some physical aspects of the relationship.
As far as the Aniston tattoo is concerned, I would not mind it if other women decided to put “Norman” on their right foot.  A fashion statement like that could go a long way towards changing the image of “Norman” as a geeky dweeb into a cool guy with his name on the feet of many of America’s sweethearts.

“Husband and dog missing ... 25 cents reward for dog
Wife and dog missing ... 25 cents reward for dog”.  Two anonymous jokes
from a time when 25 cents meant more than it now does.
